sleater-kinney rocks my fucking world. i had a great fucking time in olywa. lemme tell you.






the show was awesome. they were so excited to be playing at evergreen, they were laughing and talking the whole time. corin said it was like on of those nightmares of being in front of your class with the lights shining on you. i guess it would be kind of weird to go play at the school you went to. she also talked about how nirvana played in one of the mods (housing thingers) and carrie said "that doesnt make you cool, corin." it was great. the crowd was a little young, but i was up front with evergreen people dancin' the night away. it was pretty great. and also a little weird to see them in a gym. i also have a setlist, so i know exactly which songs are which on the new record. yay!

excellent. i recorded the show. i hope to have the mp3s up tomorrow, if youre interested, let me know! ive been listening to so many bootlegs that i knew all the songs pretty well. it was funny because i was singing what i knew and then i looked up at carrie and was like "ohmygod. shes gonna think i know it so well because i downloaded the album! but i didnt! i swear!" so i stopped singing along. ha! thats sad. i <3 them so. you will love the new record.

faaaanfuckin tastic! of course i'd love some live stuff; that'd be great if you didn't mind sharing. wow wow wow!! i haven't heard bootleg stuff either but i'm really wanting to get the album myself (MAY IS TOO FAR OFF) but wow, live, wow. shit i wish i didn't live on the other end of the world!!! seeing them live would be soooooooooo kickass.

does corin look a little skinny to you though?

she definitly lost weight. i think she just lost that mom weight she gained. she looks great, her hair looks awesome. shes just so pretty.

of course! i have that recorded. ha! hell yeah. she also talked about heavens to betsys practice methods while on campus. they were all having a blast playing there, seeing as janet was the only one that hadnt gone to evergreen. even sarah did. well, she taught there, too, but still. thats pretty rad.

yeah corin's hair looks great, and i notice she isn't playing the danelectro anymore... definitely going for a grittier sound with the les paul. sweet!
